The past 12 months have been exciting in terms of sales figures for 688 Bourke Street with prices up and owners enjoying steady growth.  City Point experienced considerable activity, with almost double the amount of total sales compared with the previous financial year.  This confirms the high level of interest by investors and first home buyers in this particular building.

Despite the uncertainty of the global financial crisis in the past year, City Point has seen an increase in average apartment sale prices of over $42,000. It hasn't all been smooth sailing. Owners have been suffering disruption associated with the new development next door, Upper West Side.  This is the cause of regular noise and some traffic frustration at the exit of the car park on Little Bourke St.  Some people have been finding dust levels to also be an issue.  It appears this will be ongoing for the future as the development continues however we hope disruptions will be minimized as time goes on. Looking forward, City Point offers a strong buying opportunity in a highly sought after neighborhood.  This should cushion it from too many market fluctuations for the coming financial year.
